Justin Holt began his career as a lighting technical director working at Rhythm & Hues Studios on the Academy Award Winning Animated Feature HAPPY FEET. However, his passion for textures landed him a gig as a texture painter on his second feature film, THE KINGDOM.

From there Justin contributed to the texture work for THE INCREDIBLE HULK and then accepted the lead texture painter role at MPC to paint the Owlship in Zack Snyder’s WATCHMEN.

After leading texture work at Industrial Light & Magic working on Gore Verbinski’s feature animation RANGO, Justin then moved up to Vancouver to build a new texture pipeline and oversee the texture work coming out of Image Engine, most notably painting the textures for CHAPPIE.

Justin then joined Sony Pictures Imageworks as a Texture Painter Supervisor for ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS and SUICIDE SQUAD.

He has recently wrapped on KINGSMAN 2: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE and SPIDER-MAN HOMECOMING.

In May of 2017, Justin accepted the facility wide Texture Supervisor role with Method Studios.

Some projects he has supervised on while at Method include THOR RAGNAROK, JUSTICE LEAGUE and BLACK PANTHER.

In May of 2018, Justin accepted the Texture Department Supervisor role at Atomic Fiction in Montreal QC.

Currently he is supervising work on The OA, RIM OF THE WORLD, TOP GUN 2, STRANGER THINGS SEASON 3, BLOODSHOT and WONDER WOMAN 2
